St Mary's Church, Brighstone is over 800 years old.
Each generation has adapted and added to the building
for its own use.
In 2004, we saw the largest re-ordering of the church
since early Victorian times. A new floor was
installed, with underfloor heating, toilet and kitchen
facilities were added. The church is now fully
compliant with the recent disability legislation.
We are thrilled with the new limestone floor, which
has greatly enhanced the building, whilst retaining
its medieval feel. The church is level throughout, and
has been much admired. We are very grateful to Medina
Tiling for the service that they gave to us. Their
workmanship is the most visible and outstanding aspect
of the project.
